Radiesse
Radiesse® is a dermal filler used to restore lost volume and helps generate a more youthful-looking face by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production. It helps smoothen facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (creases that extend from the corner of the nose to the corner of the mouth), in men and women. Radiesse® is also used for treating volume-loss in the back of the hands.
What Is Radiesse?
Radiesse® is an FDA-approved bio-compatible cosmetic filler made of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA). It is injected through a small needle and placed just below the skin to stimulate your own body’s collagen production. Radiesse® results have been shown to improve appearance of common facial wrinkles and fold, such as nasolabial folds, chin wrinkles, smile lines, pre-jowl, and marionette lines. Radiesse® treatment can be safely combined with Botox® and other cosmetic treatments.
How Radiesse Works?
To restore lost volume in the skin, Radiesse® solutions are injected below the skin surface using a slim needle to plump the skin. The filler immediately adds volume under the skin and continuous to stimulate collagen production, resulting in immediate and long-lasting. Most of our patients at Premier Medical Aesthetix feel completely comfortable during their treatments. Depending on the area to be treated, Radiesse® session usually lasts about 30 minutes.

What To Expect?
While the treatment is almost completely painless, some patients may experience negative reactions around the injection sites. This is normal and usually clears up a few days after the treatment. Patients can return to work and normal activities a few hours after the treatment, although we generally recommend avoiding intense facial movements for about two days. Radiesse® generates immediate results that could last up to 12- 15 months.
